KSU Arsonist Chooses Odd Target
KENT, Ohio — Kent State University officials are concerned what may be a prank is going too far and are asking students to be on the lookout for an arsonist.
Eric Mansfield, the executive director of University Media Relations, confirmed small name tags on dorm room doors have been set on fire over the last week.
It’s happening in Prentice Hall, a building on Midway Drive that houses about 230 students.
At the time of this report there was no damage and no one was hurt, but university police are looking for the person or people responsible.
Anyone with information or who witnesses suspicious activity should report it to the Kent State Police Department by calling (330) 672-3070.
