Migraine Pill Found in Halloween Candy
ANDOVER, Ohio — Police are warning parents to double-check their children’s Halloween candy after a scary discovery Wednesday night.
About 30 minutes after trick-or-treat ended in Andover Village, a 13-year-old boy found a round, white pill marked “L430″ inside a Smarties roll, Andover police said.
Officers later determined that the pill was a generic version of Excedrin Migraine.
That’s the only incident reported in the area, but police want parents to pay special attention to Halloween candy before eating it.
