Man With Alzheimer’s Found Safe

NORTH OLMSTED, Ohio — The search for a missing North Olmsted man with Alzheimer’s Disease is over.

Police found James Vanvleet after a report of a man driving the wrong way on I-480 around 5:30 a.m. Tuesday.

Vanvleet hadn’t been seen or heard from since Monday afternoon. He was supposed to pick his wife up at the airport, but never showed.

The Statewide Emergency Alert Program issued a missing adult alert for Vanvleet. The alert was posted on highway signs and reported by local media.
