Prayers for Roger: Stefani’s Update (10/19)

Fox 8 News in the Morning anchor Stefani Schaefer started her weekend on a positive note with a good update on her husband’s recovery.

Roger suffered a traumatic brain injury in April when he fell off of scaffolding.

Stefani has been updating viewers both on-air and on her Facebook fan page.

On Friday evening, she wrote:

“Roger’s surgery went very well this morning- thank God. I can’t tell you how how much I appreciated that everything went smoothly- no unexpected turns- yeah! Now we focus on getting this “superbug” infection gone. Medication is highly toxic-so we are praying his body continues to fight it. Have a wonderful evening. Blessings and hugs!!”
