NEWTON TWP. Ohio — A man involved in a fatal crash that killed a Newton Township couple is alleged to have exposed himself to hospital staff shortly after the accident.

According to a report released by the Ohio State Highway Patrol, 42-year-old Paul Wodianka, of Diamond, was taken to the hospital after the Sept. 21 crash, and was accused of exposing himself to staff and patients.

Troopers say the car he was driving collided with a vehicle driven by 37-year-old Jamie Danes.  Danes and his wife, Emily, were both killed.

Family members of the couple say they were on their way home from a dinner and movie to celebrate their wedding anniversary. The couple leaves behind an 8-year-old son.

Wodianka has prior OVI convictions and officials are awaiting tests to determine if alcohol or drugs were in his system prior to the crash.  The report states Wodianka admitted to troopers he had two beers earlier in the evening.

The case is expected to be presented to a grand jury soon.
