Popular Cereal Recalled
WASHINGTON, DC — You better check your cereal box before you eat your breakfast. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration has initiated a voluntary recall involving millions of boxes of cereal.
Kellogg’s Frosted Mini-Wheats Bite Size Original and Mini-Wheats Unfrosted Bite Size are being recalled due to the possible presence of fragments of flexible metal mesh from a faulty manufacturing part.
There are more than 2.8 million packages of the cereal in the recall. They have the letters KB, AP or FK before or after the “best if used before” date.
You can call Kellogg’s at 1-800-962-1413 from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Eastern time with any questions.
