Retired Sgt. Accused of Fatally Shooting Tenant
CLEVELAND — A retired sergeant for the Cleveland Police Department is behind bars, accused of shooting and killing a man who rented a home from him, police said.
“I was in the kitchen. I heard a shot and then I went outside, and that’s when I saw the police. The [victim] was lying in front of the house,” neighbor Erica Jackson said.
Husband and Wife Face Charges in Rocky River Fish Kill
NORTH OLMSTED, Ohio — Tens of thousands of fish were found dead in a local river and on Wednesday a husband and wife were charged with poisoning them.
In April of this year, nearly 31,000 dead fish were found floating in a three mile stretch of the Rocky River.
‘Webster’ Actor Alex Karras Dead at 77
(CNN) — Alex Karras, the burly defensive lineman turned actor in the ABC sitcom “Webster,” died Wednesday surrounded by his family in their Los Angeles home following a hard-fought battle with kidney disease, heart disease, dementia and stomach cancer, according to a family spokesman.
Kate Gosselin Accused of Cruelty To Pets
Former reality TV star Kate Gosselin is being accused of abusing the family pets, according to Radar Online.
Robert Hoffman, a journalist who became close to Kate’s ex-husband, Jon Gosselin, told “Star Magazine” that he witnessed the animal abuse.
