Tribe Clobbers Royals 15-3

Indians v. Royals

CLEVELAND — The Cleveland Indians hit a 10-run hot streak against the Kansas City Royals at home on Sunday.

The Tribe was leading 1-0 going into the bottom of the 5th inning when Shin-Soo Choo doubled down the right field line.

After stealing third, Choo was the first to score that inning, hit in by a Jason Kipnis ground rule double.

An Asdrubal Cabrera bunt single advanced Kipnis, who scored on a Jack Hannahan double.

Three walks were cycled in as the team batted around.

Later in the inning, Asdrubal Cabrera brought everyone home on a grand slam to left field.

The Royals answered with two runs in the 6th and another in the 7th, while the Indians’ momentum continued with a pair of runs in both the 7th and 8th inning.

The final was 15-3, Indians, giving Zack McAllister with the win.

The Indians begin a home series against the Chicago White Sox at 7:05 p.m. on Monday.
