Minority Women with Breast Cancer

Dr. Sonja Harris-Haywood, a physician with University Hospitals, shared some important statistics with Fox 8 News viewers Thursday morning.

She’s passionate about minority women getting support while dealing with a breast cancer diagnosis.

That’s because she is a cancer survivor herself.

Minority Women With Breast Cancer Uniting, Inc. (MWBCU), has been working in Northeast Ohio for over a decade providing help to patients and survivors.

The group will hold its 20th Year Pink Tie Gala on Saturday, October 6, at 6 p.m.
