Cleveland Hopkins Airport

CLEVELAND – United Airlines is planning two new daily nonstop flights out of Hopkins International Airport.

The airline will offer flights to Nashville beginning Dec. 19 and to Oklahoma City Feb. 14. The flights will be operated by ExpressJet, with a 50-seat aircraft.

United Airlines says Nashville has the largest number of travelers among cities that United doesn’t currently serve from Cleveland, and that the Oklahoma City flights will support Northeast Ohio’s growing energy sector.

Tickets for the new flights will go on sale Saturday.

United has also announced that non-stop service between Cleveland and Green Bay, Wis., will be discontinued effective Dec. 18.
