STOW, Ohio — A major power outage in Stow has affected traffic lights across the city, officials said Wednesday.

City workers are in the process of placing generators at the intersections of Graham Road and SR 91 and Kent Road and SR 91 to assist with traffic flow. Additionally, Ohio Edison crews are working to restore power.

City officials are asking residents to treat any intersection with a non-functioning traffic light as a four-way stop. Motorists should stop at the intersection, yield to the right of way to vehicles in the intersection and proceed through it with caution.
