Indians Fall in 12 Innings Against Minnesota Twins

CLEVELAND — The Indians went deep into the night at Progressive Field, but still came out on the wrong end of a 6-5 score in 12 innings.
Tied at 4 apiece in the 12th inning, the visitors pushed across two runs to take a 6-4 lead.
Alexi Casilla reached on a infield single to second and a run scored. Then Pedro Florimon singled to right to produce the 6th run.
The Indians did get one run back in the bottom of the 12th inning on a solo homer by Carlos Santana, but that was not enough.
Indians starter David Huff pitched 4 and one thirds innings and gave up 7 hits and three runs. Scott Maine absorbed the loss.
