CLEVELAND — A woman accused of killing her own mother was found “naked and wandering around with a shovel” on the morning of the murder, officials said in court Monday morning.
Jacqueline D. Lang, 54, appeared in Cleveland Municipal Court on an aggravated murder charge. She did not enter a plea as her case was bound over to the Grand Jury of Cuyahoga County.
A judge set bond at $1,000,000.
According to facts presented in court, officers responded to Norwood Road on the morning of September 14 and found Lang “naked and wandering around with a shovel.” She allegedly admitted to them that she had stabbed her mother, 72-year-old Willa Miller.
Miller was found dead in her home. The Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner’s Office would later confirm that Miller had been stabbed five times.
