SANDUSKY, Ohio — Police in Sandusky have made an arrest in connection with a weekend murder that left a mother and her two children dead.

According to Fox 8 I-Team Reporter Peggy Sinkovich, officials named the suspect as Curtis Clinton, 41.

On Saturday evening, Heather Jackson, 23, her 18-month-old son Wayne and 3-year-old daughter Celina were discovered by police. The three had been strangled.

A 911 call to police alerted authorities on how the family had been discovered.

CALLER: “Nobody’s heard from her for a while.”

DISPATCHER: “We just checked on her not that long ago.”

CALLER: “Ok, I walked in the back door because I thought I heard someone say ‘come in’ but maybe it was the TV, and there’s a body under the (expletive) mattress!”

When officers arrived inside Heather’s home on John Street, they found the bodies. The children were found in a closet.
