Suspected Tornadoes Hit New York City

(CNN) — A suspected tornado hit a community in New York on Saturday.  

This happened in the Breezy Point neighborhood in Queens.

It was part of a powerful cold front that brought heavy rain and high winds to the Northeast.

Fire officials responded to reports of possible tornadoes in both Brooklyn and Queens.

There was some structural damage as well as downed trees and power lines in both areas.

No injuries have been reported.
