Mentor Police Search for Crime Spree Suspect

MENTOR, Ohio — Police in Mentor are searching for a woman involved in a violent crime spree that spanned three cities.

According to Mentor Police, the female suspect was the accomplice in a car-jacking in Chardon in the early morning hours of August 26th. 

The suspect and a male suspect, who was later arrested by Cleveland Police on August 30th for an armed gas station robbery, approached a driver around 3:30 a.m. and demanded the vehicle at gun-point.

According to Mentor Police, The female suspect then drove to a gas station at 7408 Mentor Avenue, where her male accomplice robbed the business at gun-point.

After making off with an undisclosed amount of cash, Mentor Police say the suspects then drove to a gas station located at Ridge and SOM Center Road in Willoughby.

The male suspect then committed an armed robbery of that business. Following the robbery the female suspect drove the duo from the scene.
