WARRENSVILLE HEIGHTS — More excitement in Northeast Ohio after a bear was sighted in Warrensville Heights on Thursday.
“I’ve got the bear outside my window… he’s right here! This is the most exciting day of my life!” said Marie Rusnak in a 911 call.
The 200 pound black bear, that has become known as the ‘Bedford Bear’ since its stint in a Bedford Heights tree, has been roaming Cleveland suburbs for three days.
Rusnak said some leftover grease was poured out after a Labor Day cookout and the bear was snacking on it.
Police and wildlife experts say the bear may be headed to the Solon/Orange area next.
Remember to avoid approaching the bear if he wanders into your neck of the woods.
