CLEVELAND – Cleveland lost to Texas at Progressive Field on Sunday in a game with plenty of home run action courtesy of the Rangers.

The opposition got its first hot streak in the top of the 3rd when Texas scored four runs and boasted a Jurickson Profar homer.

Carlos Santana answered with a home run of his own in the bottom of the 3rd.

The score was 4-2 at the end of the inning.

When the 5th inning rolled around, the Rangers blasted three more home runs.

It was the third time Josh Hamilton and Adrian Beltre went back to back this season.

Zach McAllister became the first Indians pitcher to allow four home runs in a game this season.

Neither team scored again until they each chalked up a run in the 8th inning.

The final score was 8-3.

Thomas Neal got his first taste of Major League play, and had an RBI and a double.

The Indians take on the Tigers in Detroit on Monday.
