My Town: Antarctic Adventures

MONTVILLE TOWNSHIP, Ohio – Experience an adventurous trip through the Antarctic without leaving Northeast Ohio.  Geauga Park District will host David McCullough on Saturday, September 1 from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Observatory Park, 10610 Clay Street in Montville Township.

He will share the stories of his expedition which featured seas with 50-foot waves, penguins, seals and seascapes.  His month-long journey covered Antarctica, the Faulklands and Saint Georgia Island.

“David has a remarkable gift for using his outstanding photographic images and engaging narration to make his audiences feel as if they were on the journey with him,” said Naturalist Services Director Diane Valen.
