Woman Killed in Medina County Crash

HOMER TWP., Ohio — Investigators were trying to determine what caused a woman to veer off the road, resulting in a fatal car accident.

According to the Medina Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol, Cynthia D. Parker, 38, of Sullivan, Ohio, was traveling east on U.S. 224 in Homer Twp. west of Camp Road.

Shortly after midnight on Friday, her vehicle drove off the right side of the road and hit a ditch.

The car rolled over and Parker, who was not wearing a seat belt, was ejected, the Medina Post said.

Parker was taken to Lodi Hospital where she was pronounced dead.

The crash remained under investigation.
