Mariners Blast Indians 5-1

The Cleveland Indians lost to the Seattle Mariners 5-1 Tuesday night.

Eric Thames’ homer off of Roberto Hernandez was Seattle’s first hit. He allowed just two more hits, before Esmil Rogers came on in relief, in the seventh.

Hernandez promptly gave up a three-run homer to Jesus Montero.

The Mariners won 5-1.

The Indians are now 1-and-7 on their current road trip They’ll try to end it with a win today at 3:30, when they take on the Mariners again.
