SUV Crashes Into House with Residents Inside

MADISON TOWNSHIP, Ohio –  An SUV lost control and crashed into a home on the 6000 block of Shelly Drive in Madison Monday evening.

Police say the home was occupied, but residents were on the opposite side of the house at the time of the accident. The driver was injured in the crash, and flown by LifeFlight to MetroHealth Medical Center for head injuries.

The home’s occupants were evacuated until emergency crews could determine if it was structurally sound.

The crash is still under investigation. It is unknown if alcohol was a factor in the accident.
