Comedian Phyllis Diller, 95, Dies

CNN is reporting that comedian Phyllis Diller died “peacefully in her sleep” Monday morning.

The information was provided to CNN from her manager. Diller was 95.

Diller began her career as a comedian and actress 60 years ago and was known by millions for her wild hair and eccentric antics on screen.

Diller grew to become a house-hold name in the 1960′s when she starred in a series of television specials with legendary comedian Bob Hope.
