My Town: Sommer Oktoberfest in Olmsted Township

OLMSTED TOWNSHIP, Ohio – Wienerschnitzel, sauerbraten, strudel and BEER!  It must be Oktoberfest!

The German-American Cultural Center will host Sommer Oktoberfest Friday through Sunday, August 17-19 in Lenau Park (7370 Columbia Road in Olmsted Township).

There will be music, dancing, raffles, games, crafts, shopping and activities for the kids.  The ceremonial beer tapping takes place at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Sommer Oktoberfest Hours:

• Friday, August 17 – 6:00 p.m. to midnight
• Saturday, August 18 – 4:00 p.m. to midnight
• Sunday, August 19 – noon to 9:00 p.m.
