Civil Rights Activist Rev. Al Sharpton Visits Cleveland
CLEVELAND — Civil Rights activist Rev. Al Sharpton visited the city’s east side as a stop on his “Voter Engagement Tour.”
Sharpton spoke at the Greater Abyssinia Baptist Church, telling the audience to be mindful of important presidential election issues. The “Voter Engagement Tour” is part of Sharpton’s “National Action Network” which raises awareness for voter education and protection.
The activist wrapped up his talk reminding community members to be sure their vote in counted in November.
