My Town: Seville Farm Market Zucchini Smackdown

SEVILLE, Ohio – So you think you can cook?  Show off your skills during Seville Farm Market’s fourth-annual Zucchini Smackdown contest on Saturday, August 18.  You’re invited to make your best zucchini dish and bring it to the market by 10:00 a.m.  Local celebrities will determine whose dish is the tastiest!

Here are the rules:

  • Dish must be made from zucchini you grew or obtained from a local grower.
  • Prizes will be awarded in three categories: Best Savory Dish, Best Sweet Dish and Largest Zucchini.
  • Entrants must provide recipes for each dish, which will be posted at www.sevillefarmmarket.blogspot.com.
  • All entries must be in place for judging by 10 a.m., Saturday, August 18.
  • A panel of local celebrity judges will determines the winners.
  • This contest is open to all ages welcome.
