Police: Woman Kills Fiance on Wedding Day

WHITEHALL TWP., Pa. (WFMZ) — A Pennsylvania woman is accused of killing her fiancé hours before they were set to get married.

Police say Na Cola Franklin, 31, stabbed her fiancé to death on Saturday morning at their Whitehall Twp. apartment, near Philadelphia, where four children were inside.

Officers found Billy Rafael Brewster, 36, bleeding outside the apartment.

Neighbors say the usually quiet couple was heard arguing before police were called out.

“They’d always been quiet. She was really friendly. I didn’t really see him that much, but she was really nice,” said one man.

Franklin is now charged with homicide and was ordered held without bail.  

Her next court date is Aug. 17.
