Romney’s Flub Introducing Paul Ryan

Republican presidential hopeful Mitt Romney accidentally named someone else the “next president of the United States” as he introduced his vice presidential running mate on Saturday in Norfolk, Va.

President Barack Obama made a similar snafu in 2008 during the Democratic ticket’s first joint appearance.

“Let me introduce to you, the next president… the next vice president of the United States of America! Joe Biden!” then-candidate Obama said.
