Powerball Jackpot Jumps to $305 Million
PARMA HEIGHTS, Ohio — Powerball players can continue dream after the jackpot spiked to $305 million when no winner was drawn Saturday night.
The Aug. 11 winning numbers were: 4-13-39-46-51. The Powerball was number 1.
The cash option for the jackpot at the time of this report was $203.3 million.
What would you do with that much money?
Customers buying Powerball tickets at the Yorktown Service Plaza in Parma Heights on Friday had a few ideas.
“Pay my debts and take me a good vacation. Help the family,” said Jose Rivera.
“I would put some into savings and I would donate to some charities and especially the APL and everything like that and help some animals,” said Andrea Sliva.
The jackpot is certainly a high amount, but not even half of the $656 million Mega Millions jackpot that had people lining up for a lucky chance to win back in March.
But no one can argue $305 million can make a bank account look pretty nice.
“It’s a big one, anything in triple digits is good,” said Karl Kreuscher.
