Epilepsy Surgery: Boy Shares Success Story

Posted on: 11:23 am, August 10, 2012, by , updated on: 11:31am, August 10, 2012

Mason McKnight, 14, has been living seizure free for six months.

That’s because of an important operation he had at the Cleveland Clinic to treat his Epilepsy.

Friday morning, Mason bravely shared his story and how life has changed for him post-surgery.

He’ll join 49 other kids from across the country on Saturday at the Cleveland Clinic’s pediatric epilepsy reunion. It’s a wonderful opportunity for children to learn more about recovery, medications and the surgery itself.
