Possible Multi-Year Deal in Works for Cavs’ Gee
CLEVELAND — Cavs’ swingman Alonzo Gee, a restricted free agent, had hoped to get big offers from other teams.
Those did not materialize, and the one time D-league player continued to express a desire to remain a Cav.
Fox 8 Sports anchor John Telich has learned there is a three-year contract offer on the table. Sources said it’s in the neighborhood of $10 million.
Gee originally was given a $2.7 million qualifying offer from the team at the onset of free agency.
The team just Wednesday announced a two-year contract for Utah Jazz guard-forward C.J. Miles.
