‘Drowning Victim’ Sits Up, Shocks Rescuers

SCRANTON, Pa. (WNEP) — Police, the coroner and a number of witnesses were shocked as a ‘dead man’ floating in the river sat up and left the water on his own will.

According to WNEP, the man had been drifting for some time, causing onlookers to believe he had drown.

It turns out the man had just fallen asleep!
