‘Naked’ Randy Travis Threatens Officers: Report

This has not been a good year for Randy Travis.

The country singer was arrested Tuesday night in Texas for drunken driving–his second alcohol-related bust in 2012.

According to TMZ, Travis crashed his 1998 Pontiac Trans Am into a construction zone, then laid down in the street … naked.

Officers initially arrested him for DWI, but on the way to the station, Travis allegedly threatened to “shoot and kill the troopers working the case,” officials told the entertainment website.

A mugshot shows the 53-year-old with a black eye and cuts on his face. He reportedly suffered the injuries in the crash.

Travis has since been released from jail after posting $21,500 bail.
