The story of a familiar face in Cleveland’s music scene will soon be told on film.

“The Sax Man” will follow the life of Maurice Reedus, Jr., a charismatic saxophonist who has played on the streets of Cleveland for two decades.

A group of Northeast Ohio filmmakers hopes to share their documentary at the world-famous Sundance Film Festival, but need help with the funding.

So far, they’ve raised $11,000; however, they need to come up with $35,000 by August 14 in order to get funds pledged to the project.
