Water Main Breaks Fixed in Strongsville & Maple Heights
STRONGSVILLE, Ohio — Water main breaks in two different cities that left some residents and businesses without service have been fixed.
According to officials with the Cleveland Division of Water repairs were completed in the late afternoon and all customers have had water service returned.
In Strongsville, Drake Road remains closed at Howe and Pearl roads as crews with the Cleveland Division of Water continuing to clean up the debris.
On Thursday morning SkyFOX captured images of a front yard flooded with water. A spokesperson for the Cleveland Water Department said crews worked to repair a 12-inch break.
More than 20 homes had lost water service.
Further east, in Maple Heights, the intersection of Maple Heights Boulevard and Broadway Avenue was shut down. Crews worked to fix a 6-inch break.
