My Town: Nature Arts Festival

RUSSELL TOWNSHIP, Ohio – Geauga Park District will host its 21st annual Nature Arts Festival on Saturday and Sunday, August 4-5 from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at The West Woods (9465 Kinsman Road).  More than 50 artists will have their works on display.

“This will be a record year for the number of outdoor artist vendors,” said Teresa Runion, special events coordinator, “and it should be a nice full show with a lot of new faces and artwork. All the artists who participant every year always strive to have new inventory, but I’m happy to see new people in the mix. It’ll keep the show fresh and visitors will be eager to return. It’s also exciting for all of us behind the scenes.”

Browse the displays of fine art a ranging from woodcarvings and paintings to jewelry and pottery.  You can purchase your favorite pieces to take home with you.  Enjoy a variety of demonstrations throughout the weekend, live entertainment, raffle and great food.
