Man Accused of Mixing Drink After-Hours
Angelo Vitolo, 23, of Willoughby was arrested after allegedly making himself a drink in a Mentor bar after-hours.
MENTOR, Ohio — A Willoughby man was arrested for entering a bar after-hours and making himself a drink, and is also accused of exhibiting strange behavior as he attempted to clog a toilet.
According to Lt. Ken Zbiegien with the Mentor Police Department, officers responded to an alarm at the Hooley House on Reynolds Road around 4:30 a.m. on July 29.
They said they found Angelo Vitolo, 23, of Willoughby, making himself a drink “because he was thirsty.”
His alleged beverage of choice was Jack Daniels and Coke complete with a cherry.
The cost of the drink would have been about $7.
Zbiegien said Vitolo tried to convince officers he worked at the bar but police confirmed that was incorrect.
Vitolo was taken to jail and was charged with two felonies.
Zbiegien confirmed Vitolo also tried to clog his cell toilet with a blanket.
