Neighbor Dies After Fight Over Loud Noise
CLEVELAND — An argument between neighbors turned deadly early Saturday morning on the city’s east side, Cleveland Police tell Fox 8 News.
It happened just before 3 a.m. in the 5200 block of Luther Avenue.
Witnesses told police that a 55-year-old man and his neighbor, a 28-year-old man, were arguing over loud noise. Things got physical when the younger man allegedly punched the elder neighbor in the head several times.
Officers responded and found the 55-year-old man with head trauma. Police say although he was conscious and talking on the way to the hospital, he later died at MetroHealth Medical Center.
The 28-year-old man was arrested at the scene.
The Cleveland Division of Police Homicide Unit is investigating. Further details were not immediately released.
