Man With Gun Robs Richmond Heights Bank

RICHMOND HEIGHTS, Ohio — The Federal Bureau of Investigation is searching for an armed suspect who robbed a bank in Richmond Heights Saturday morning.

According to FBI Special Agent Vicki Anderson, a man walked into the US Bank on Wilson Mills Road, just before 8:30 a.m. He had a handgun and was verbally threatening to employees.

Surveillance pictures show the suspect pointing his gun, before reaching over the counter to grab cash out of the register drawer. In other photos, the bank teller is seen scrambling money for the suspect who set a black bag on the counter for her to fill up.

Authorities describe the suspect as 6-feet tall, with a thin-to-medium build. He was wearing white pants and black horizontally striped shirt.

No one was hurt.

Anyone with information is asked to call the FBI or the Richmond Heights Police Department.
