AURORA, Co. (CNN) — The alleged gunman in the Aurora movie theater massacre apparently sent a package to the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus, his former school.
Officials say the package was discovered on Monday.
CBS News reports it was addressed to a psychologist at the university.
It also reports there was a letter which talked about shooting people and included crude drawings of a gunman with his victims.
School officials say the package was turned over to authorities within hours of it being delivered.
The shooting suspect, James Holmes, was in the process of dropping out of the university’s PhD program in neuroscience.
Authorities say he killed 12 people and injured 58 more inside a crowded movie theater last week.
