CLEVELAND — The Cleveland Indians fell back to .500 for the first time in almost a month after the Baltimore Orioles knocked off the Indians for the second night in a row 3-1.

The Indians scored first when Shin Soo Choo hit his fifth career leadoff home run to give the Tribe a 1-0 lead.

Zach McAllister lasted a career-high 7.2 innings but took the loss dropping him to 4-2 on the season. McAllister gave up just five runs including a home run to former Indian, Jim Thome who hit his second home run in as many games and his 611th of his career.

The Orioles added another run in the eighth inning when Ryan Flaherty went deep for the fourth time this season. Cleveland is now 3-3 on the season against Baltimore. The Indians have lost three straight games but lost for only the fourth time in the last 11 games at Progressive Field.

Game three of the series is scheduled for 3:05 p.m. on Sunday at Progressive Field. Josh Tomlin is scheduled to start for the Indians and he will face left handed pitcher Zach Britton.
