Teen Dies After Gaming for 40 Hours Straight

TAIWAN — A marathon gaming session ended up costing one teen his life.

According to a FoxNews.com report, an 18-year-old man died after being awoken by an attendant at an internet cafe.

The report states that the teen played the video game Diablo 3 for 40 hours straight.

The attendant found the teen sleeping on a table, according to the report, and she nudged him awake.

The teen stood, took a few steps and then collapsed to the floor.

The teen was DOA by the time he entered a local hospital. Authorities are conducting an autopsy to determine the teen’s exact cause of death.
