Man Accused of Killing Pet Dog, Beating Girlfriend with Carcass

SANDY SPRINGS, Ga. — Police say a man attacked and killed his girlfriend’s dog and then beat the woman with the dead pet.

According to a MyFoxAtlanta.com report, authorities responded to a condominium complex after receiving a call from neighbors that a couple had been fighting.

According to the report, when officers arrived they found a horrifying scene.

Police allege that the suspect, 27-year-old Emmanuel Alfredo Tadeo, had kicked the couple’s Pomeranian dog to death. He then allegedly grabbed the dog and used it as a weapon, beating his girlfriend with the dead animal. 

Tadeo was arrested and charged with felony counts of battery and animal cruelty.
