Community Fights Release of Mutant Mosquitoes

(Buzz: 60) — People are fighting a plan to release genetically modified mosquitoes in the Florida Keys.

An insect control organization believes the crop of bugs will take over the resident mosquito population and eradicate a disease they have the potential to carry.

But residents are concerned about the many unknowns associated with the mutated mosquitoes.
