Irish Cultural Festival

In honor of the upcoming festival, the chef from Claddagh Irish Pubs, Bob Cannon, joined David in the kitchen to make their famous Beer-Battered Wild Cod. The Assistant Director of the Cleveland Irish Cultural Festival, John O’Brien Jr., joined in to tell us about the event. 24 performers, 2 outdoor and 7 indoor stages, 50 Irish vendors, a children’s area and petting zoo all make for one great weekend! AAA: Distracted Driving

As always, we can count on AAA to help make Neil’s One Tank Trips possible, but today Brian Newbacher was back with an important mission to make our roads safer. Chance are, the last time you were on the road you saw someone texting behind the wheel. Or eating, doing their makeup, shaving, talking on the phone, etc. Distracted driving is the leading contributor to crashes, injuries and an increasing number of fatalities.

Did you know that the average time spent writing and sending a text behind the wheel is 4.6 seconds? That’s long enough to travel the length of a football field at 55 miles per hour.

So why take the risk? AAA encourages us to stay safe by keeping all devices turned off and focusing on the road.
