Fox 8’s Stefani Schaefer shared an update about her husband Roger.

Roger fell 12 feet from a scaffolding in April and is in the midst of his recovery.

Stefani gave this update on her Facebook fan page on July 15th:

“Just a little update on my Roger. The last 2 days, we noticed he is a little more “aware.” His eyes and smile are more like our Roger. He is still not able to name people, places or objects and as in my last update, much of what he says doesn’t make sense… but his responses to answers are getting better. The doctors are conducting a 72 hour EEG to try to find out why he is passing out. Hopefully this test will give us some answers. Physically, Roger is getting stronger everyday. Last week, his therapist had our children hold his hands while he walked the hospital floor. It was such a beautiful sight. She really included the kids with his therapy that day… and that was special for all of us. We have been walking this journey 11 weeks now… sometimes it seems like a lifetime for all of us. I marvel at our children’s strength through all this… they are breaking inside, but try to be so strong for me. Thank you for all the emails, cards and prayers. They really do mean the world to us. I will update you again soon. Blessings and hugs, stef”
