Elvis fans can rejoice. The ”King of Rock and Roll” is back among us – sort of.

The Daily Mail reports that an experimental artist, using the internet, has genetically engineered mice using DNA from a hair strand of Elvis Presley that he bought on eBay for $22.

He then tracked down genetic services online – one company called Genetrack Biolabs, who sequenced DNA from the hair sample and inGenious Targeting Laboratory, who produce cloned mice with made-to-order genetic codes.

The artist says he plans to order more mice and create cages for them to live in that recreate particular points in Elvis’ life.
