Man Burned by Electricity After Breaking Into Substation

CLEVELAND — A man is seriously injured after breaking into an electrical substation Tuesday.

The break-in occurred at approximately 7:16 p.m. at a Cleveland Electric Illuminating Company substation at 8275 Harvard Avenue.

The Cleveland Fire Department says a male was found with pliers in his hand, and appeared to have been burned by electricity. He was taken to MetroHealth Medical Center for treatment.
