DETROIT -- A Detroit woman is killed after an off-duty officer's gun accidentally discharges, according to My Fox Detroit.

Detroit police say the woman, Adaisha Miller, 24, was shot while dancing with the officer at an outdoor party Saturday. Police say Miller hugged the officer from behind, causing the gun to discharge.

The Detroit Police Department says there is no indication the office placed his hand on the weapon, but has been given administrative duties as they investigate what happened.
