Couples Compete in Wife Carrying Competition

The husbands were showing their support for their spouses in a unique competition overseas.

The annual Wife Carrying World Championship was held Saturday in Finland.

38 couples raced through various obstacle courses, with the husbands carrying their wives on their backs.

Last year’s champs took home the title once again this year.

The winning prize is the wife’s weight in beer.
